Della vita's story
I have always had a skincare obsession. I have been applying lotions to my face since I was in high school. Drugstore finds, sneaking my mom’s products from her bathroom, religiously using a certain department store 3- step system every morning and night. My skin's appearance was important to me. I wanted it to look good but as I grew older, I became more and more concerned with it being healthy as well. Then, my mom passed of thyroid cancer at a young age, and it rocked my world. I could not stop researching the possible whys. My research led me to our biggest organ, our skin. Our skin is a huge delivery system of toxins directly into our system. The skin on our body absorbs 64% of what we put on it, our face absorbs even more, and our underarm and genitalia area absorbs 100% of what we put on it! These percentages shocked me. The skincare products that I, and my mom were applying daily were filled with toxic artificial ingredients, fillers and alcohol laden fragrances that could over time make not only my skin sick, but it could also make me sick and may have contributed to making my mom sick.
That was it. I made a promise to myself to never put anything toxic onto my skin ever again and I was going to create a product so that my family and friends would not have to either.
That is when Della Vita Olio Di Bellezza was born.
